If we look at the trends, the oldies are the goldies. Yup, the glorious styles of the past decades are coming back. We’ve found loads of inspiration from some classic 50’s hair styles, from which we picked 5 styles you definitely need to try this year. Not only will you steal all of the attention, but you will also look fabulous!
So here we are again, at the (almost) start of a new season, with fashion month firmly on its way. It’s not long until London Fashion Week launches in full swing and we’re set to see a full list of the hottest hair and beauty trends to land this year. But does that mean we’ll be saying goodbye to some of our recent favorites? I don’t think so.
Everyone knows that Jennifer Lawrence is the hot celebrity who plays Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games movies. Not only is she a rising star, having played roles in Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, Serena, and Joy, but she has also won many awards for her roles in these films. Her looks are also incredibly well followed by her fans as they love the various styles which she highlights on the red carpet as well as many other fabulous locations. Jennifer’s most recently fabulous hair style is that of her platinum colored beach waves paired with her film noir style.
Whether she’s stirring up secrets on TV dramas or showing us how to shake it on the dance floor, Georgia May Foote has managed to look pristine and perfect no matter what the challenge. From her always fresh ‘no makeup’ look, to her beautiful, brown, luscious hair, it’s safe to say that she’s probably every modern girl’s beauty inspiration.
So, that’s it… fashion month is officially over for another season. The trends have been set and if there’s one thing we can’t stop thinking about, it’s the beauty trends of course. Now that the weather is dropping and autumn has officially set in, we’re excited for the spring styles to come around – and these in particular!

This week we've created two quick and easy hair styles based around the fishtail braid. The best thing about these styles is that you can be as neat or as messy as you like with a fishtail braid and you'll get completely different looks. If you want it to be messy, once you've finished braiding your hair, simply gently pull apart the braid to loosen it up and give it a messy texture.
