And in the blink of an eye, we’re ready to say goodbye to 2017. Packed full of colourful locks, sassy slicked-back styles, and all of the volume, it’s safe to say that this year has been a goodie when it comes to all things hair. And hopefully you’ll agree.

If you’ve had more good hair days than bad, you’re probably sad to see 2017 go. But just remember, you’ve got plenty of time to turn 2018 into a better hair year yet. Up first is the scrunchie. Thats right, this ‘80s favourite is back and it’s here to stay. Some of us will remember it from the first time around, others will have fallen in love with over the last few years. Either way, if you love an easy to rock style with a bit of sass, you’re going to want to stock up on scrunchies again for this year.

Pixie Crops

Okay, so here at Hairtrade, we’re all about length and volume – but we appreciate a good ‘do too. And there’s no denying that the pixie crop is going to be big in 2018. Shorter locks look great and can be a lot of fun to style. So if you fancy a change, maybe a crop could be for you?

Centre Partings

Love yourself a side parting? Well then, you’re going to want to fall in love with a new way of doing things. Because 2018 is going to be all about the centre parting. Again! Simple, blunt, and very fashion, this style is chic, effortless and oh so edgy.

Wild Waves

When you’re a fan of bedhead, you’ve probably been waiting for another trend you can get behind – and here it is. For 2018, forget about sleek and polished curls. It’s all about wild waves! The frizzier the better!

Low Ponytails

Long hair can be lovely, but it’s tiring to handle too. So sometimes, you just want to shove it all up. But in 2018, you’re going to shove it all up a whole lot lower. Very sophisticated and feminine, the low pony is back. It’s polished and perfect and will take 2018 by storm.

Braids

Last but no least, you’ll be glad to know that braids aren’t going anywhere in 2018! We all love a good braid, especially in summer. So it’s good to know that they’re here to stay for another year. And if’s thats not a cause to celebrate, we don’t know what is!
