Friday Night Hair Tips

by

When it comes to the weekend, there’s nothing better than being able to spend hours on your hair, makeup, and entire outfit ready for the evening ahead. But, on a Friday, we’re not always blessed with the time. Because when you’ve got work, and you don’t get off until the early evening hours, you can be left feeling a bit rushed. And that’s not good for your mood or your look. So, you’re going to need a few go-to tricks to make your night much easier.

While you may not want to spend time at work perfecting your winged liner or putting on your lashes, you can make sure your hair is ready to go as soon as you head out the door. Then, you’ll only have your makeup to apply and your outfit to arrange. So let’s take a look at how to make your Friday night hair much easier to manage.

Wash The Night Before

The biggest trick you’re going to want to get in the habit of doing is washing your hair on a Thursday night. Because if you have to go home on a Friday and do it, you’re going to feel hours behind. So hop in the shower on Thursday evening or even Friday morning and get your prep started nice and early.

Top Tip: It’s also the perfect time to kill two birds with one stone get your tan on too!

Set

Now you’re going to want to set your hair to get some volume. Hopefully, you work somewhere where your boss is going to be a-okay with you rocking rollers in work time, if not, you may have to leave them in for as long as possible, or even pop them in again before you head home for the day. But this is the step that will make the rest of your prep so much easier.

Style

When you’re out of work, it’s time to style. Because you want this to be as easy and convenient as possible, you should always stick to a simple style that you love for Friday night, which is why rollers are a huge help. Take them out and work in some product with your fingers. Tease away, and you should end up with a look that you can rock right away.

Top Tip: apply your makeup first before you take the rollers out just to make sure your style holds for as long as possible.

Hold ‘Til Morn

But we all know how easy it is for a style to drop as soon as you walk out of the door. So now you’re going to need to cover your look in strong hold hairspray to make sure it sticks. When you’re done, just a few short minutes after you’ve walked in from work, your hair should be done. So now you can pop on your outfit and head out for Friday night fun.
