The first style is all about volume on top and sleek, smooth curls on the bottom. Definitely a cute, romantic look.

It all starts off using the TIGI Catwalk Root Boost Spray. Before I’d blow-dried my hair I sprayed the fine mist foam into my hairs in 3 different sections to give me a long lasting boost. I love this stuff! If that doesn’t give you enough oomph try using the Vogetti Wonder Brush to backcomb your hair at the roots. Then, onto the L’Oreal Mythic Oil which helps nourish the lengths of my hair and leave them looking and feeling smooth. I used a BaByliss Curling wand to add loose wavy curls. This is my favourite for curling my hair – it’s quick and easy and the curls are guaranteed to last. Using some grips I pulled the top sections of my hair back and pinned them in place to create the half up-half down look. I finished off with the SexyHair Smooth and Seal to add shine and get rid of any frizz.

The second look is perfect if you’ve got a backless dress or one with lots of detail. Or a good one if you’re planning a serious night on the dance floor.

This is an easy up do that is perfect for most lengths of hair. I started off by backcombing my hair at the roots, with the Wonder Brush, to add a bit of volume before adding an elastic hairband around my hair. Leaving my fringe down at the front and a couple of bits at the side, I tucked the rest underneath the band. The rolled looks is very 1920s/Great Gatsby. If you’ve got long, thick hair like me it’s easiest to tuck curled hair as it’s got more shape and movement rather than straight hair. Once it’s all tucked in you can pull bits to add a bit more shape or volume and then a bling hair band for a bit more glam. Quick, easy and gorgeous!

The last hairstyle is a messy-chic side bun- a versatile look for any Valentine’s date – cinema and cocktails?!

Again this one is all about the volume at the top, easily achieved with TIGI’s Catwalk Root Boost or the Wonder Brush. Next you pull your hair to the side and secure it with a bobble in a ponytail. I always go for the same direction of my fringe and leave a few bits down either side to frame my face. Then it’s time to push it into the bun. If you start with curly hair you can achieve quicker, messier shapes that can then be pinned into place. I used another bobble to hold the majority of my hair in my bun shape, then pushed and pulled strands to add a bit more volume. This one never looks the same twice but always looks gorgeous! A spritz of the Bed Head Rockaholic hairspray keeps it all in place and makes your hair smell amazing at the same time.
